Pink Flower Mimosa Sensitive (Mimosa Pudica) Bonsai Seeds
70-90% germination rate
Quantity: 10 Seeds
Germination Instructions for Pink Flower Mimosa Sensitive Trees:
We recommend scarification when germinating Pink Flower Mimosa Sensitive Tree seeds as they have a very hard shell. Rub the end of each seed with a nail file or abrasive sand paper until a small, pale spot appears on the hull.
Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours before sowing in bonsai soil. Water soil thoroughly before planting seeds.
Sow seeds approximately 1/4" deep. Cover the pot with plastic, and put in a warm, bright place (75° to 85° F).
Once germination occurs the plastic wrap can best removed. Ensure to water and mist seedlings regularly. Due to their tender nature, seedlings cannot withstand dry conditions. Mist and water regularly to ensure moist growing conditions.
Plant 3-4 seeds per container and pinch off undesired seedlings after the first set of true leaves appear.
